Joining other regions in the entire Philippine archipelago in ensuring a safe, friendly, welcoming, and enjoying school environment as every learner’s second home, Candon City Division once again showcased its ever living spirit of “bayanihan” during the launching of the Brigada Eskwela 2018 which had its Kick-off Ceremony last May 25, 2018 at Candon South Central School (CSCS).

All public elementary and secondary school heads and principals, federated Parent-Teachers’ Association (PTA) Officers, city government unit headed by City Mayor Ericson G. Singson, Non-Government Organizations, private companies and entities, and so much more volunteers catalyzed the good work which intends to hearten School Heads to help them as they bring the heat of unity and volunteerism all the way to their own stations.

During the Kick-off ceremony hosted by Mrs. Haydee G. Isidro, OIC, Office of the Education Program Specialist II, messages coming from Mr. Danilo C. Basabas, Chief Education Supervisor – School Governance and Operations Division, Mr. Nestor C. Heraña, CESE, OIC – Office of the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, and City Mayor Dr. Ericson G. Singson welcomed, indulged, and motivated each volunteer as they create another milestone in the educational endeavor of the division.

Before the ceremonial kick-off, Mr. Rey L. Manzano, Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, presented the effective and emerging practices of the division in the conduct of the activity for the past two years before finally turning the microphone to Mr. Augusto M. Tejada, CSCS School Principal IV, oriented the participants on the areas to be cleaned and other school activities to be undertaken for the day and the days ahead.
