Bugnay Elementary School and Cubcubbuot Elementary School receive reading materials from the Angkas Travelling Bookstore, Incorporated (ATBI), through the Basa Bookstore Book Giving Caravan.​Mr. Rey S. Bufi, the founder of the ATBI and Mr. Larry M. Piojo, the Professional Photographer, personally delivered to the SDO Candon City last February 4,2021 the following learning resources: 246 storybooks, 100 toys and 2 educational resources in USB.​

The donor intended to donate said learning resources to promote reading and storytelling as a form of psychosocial activity in the time of pandemic.​ Schools Division Superintendent Anselmo R. Aludino, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Mariecon G. Ramirez, and Curriculum Implementation Division Chief Ernesto B. Aquino Jr. personally expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the ATBI for choosing Candon City Division as one of the recipients of their Basa-Bike Project.​SDO Candon City formally turned over the donated learning resources to the school heads Mrs. Thelma B. Aquino and Mrs. Dyna Lyn G. Dacayanan.​​​​​​​​
