A total of 114 learners from the two last mile schools benefited from the “Volunteerific Activity” community outreach program organized by the Landbank Ilocos Sur Lending Center in collaboration with the Schools Division Office of Candon City last November 30.
The school-beneficiaries of the outreach program are Bagani Tocgo Elementary School (BTES) and Amguid Elementary School (AmES).
The community outreach program includes feeding activity, gift-giving, raffle draw and parlor games.
The purpose of their activity, according to Loida Arlene L. Ringor, Department Manager of Landbank Ilocos Sur Lending Center, is to share and give back to the community.
She added that the outreach program was made possible by the voluntary contributions of personnel from the Loans Operations Field Unit and the Property Valuation-Credit Investigation Division.
Meanwhile, Schools Division Superintendent Anselmo R. Aludino and Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Mariecon G. Ramirez expressed their thanks to Landbank for selecting SDO Candon City schools to be part of their program.
The Chiefs, selected supervisors, and education program specialists from the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) and the Schools Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) were also present during the activity.
